AMS Technical Specialist
We are looking to invest in a result-driven French and English speaking competitive individual who has a wealth of technical skills and abilities, and an extensive experience in technical training. This individual should have the passion to join the dairy production industry to succeed in progressing as a AMS Technical Specialist and Trainer. The key objective of this position is to develop DeLaval’s AMS Distribution Network’s technical expertise by providing effective AMS on-site or over-the-phone technical support, in addition to well structured technical training programs.
Required Technical Competencies:
- Experience as Service Technician, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, electronics and vacuum systems
- Computer skills – advanced Windows user, Linux experience considered an asset
- BS in Ag Engineering or technical training in related fields
- Dairy production knowledge considered an asset
- Background from the agricultural sector considered an asset
Required Competencies in Coordination & Technical Training:
- Strong experience in technical writing, training, and multi-level course development
- Proficiency in creating web-based and webinar training, classroom, and instructional materials, user guides, and technical troubleshooting manuals
- Ability to create internal/external course guidelines for new released products
- Excellent collaboration with managers and dealers to identify training needs
- Ability to develop assessments and skill evaluations
- Ability in managing and coordinating workshops
- Adept and tactful in delegating suggestions and duties to others regarding opportunities for improvement in technical processes
